.. a 3rd viewing for me and twice for many that came on an invite .. the experience just keeps building .. every time you notice and admire the pains taken by the Director in putting this massive vision into fructification , and presenting it in a manner that makes the film historic .. historic not just in its commercial prospects, but historic in its values of the audacious mind of the Director in metamorphosing the legend of the Mahabharat with its manifestation after 6000 years , into the viewage of modern day humans that go to see the film TODAY in 2024 ..

2024 ... centuries away from 2898 ( in the title of the film) .. which has been calculated after references to the Puran and Ved to be the moment of the reincarnation of Krishna - the Avatar that shall be born at the ending of the Kalyug - when all the atrocities, lies and irregularities of the World to be exhausted and overcome ..

The brilliance of interpreting a mythological Epic - the Mahabharata, which comprises of over 1 lakh 40 thousand verses , the largest epic ever in the history - and bringing it to modern day - well modern meaning 2898 AD - and to embellish it with the subtle nuances, which govern the past with what is to happen after the Mahabharata is over - the war between the Kauravas and the Pandav armies that lasted 18 days ..

SO WHAT NEXT .. WHAT HAPPENED AFTER IT WAS OVER ..

does life remain in its stagnancy or there is more ..

WELL FIND OUT BY SEEING KALKI .. and revel in its vast and massive presentation .. and to live till the FINALITY of its story-telling in the wait of the Part 2 ..

SO .. had a wonderful chat with Nag Ashwin for the camera and it should be out soon hopefully as a Podcast or on the TV channels , soon ..

Yes the film is a massive spectacle .. but it is also a learning .. a learning of the merger of myth and reality .. and a learning to the film makers on the process of putting this mammoth together for a viewing audience ..

It is humbling and perhaps not in my league to speak of a project which has been involved with me also , but at times it does become unavoidable .. such be its magnification in its discuss ...

The chat, or as some prominent journalists have titled previous effort with me and the cast of the film as the Kalki Chronicles , could well be titled the Kalki Director Chronicles ..

And I do wish that the Production be swift in putting it out as a PodCast , for it to be viewed and heard by several more ..

I retire now as the night was long and the morning early .. but shall slumber in the essence of Kalki , irrespective of the yay's and nay's of the World for it ..

Five Days Skill Development Programme on Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning starts at SMVDU

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) is proud to announce the commencement of a Five Days Skill Development Programme on Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning funded and supported by Higher education Department, Govt. UT of J&K from 11 March -15 March 2024. The program, organized by the School of Computer Science and Engineering, aims to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills in the rapidly evolving fields of AI and Machine Learning. The event has garnered participation from institutes across J&K covering various regions of UT of J&K, including Central University Jammu, Kashmir University, UIET Kathua, and SKUAST Jammu.The inaugural ceremony, held at SMVDU, witnessed the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Pragati Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of SMVDU, as the Chief Guest. Chief guest focused on the key terms like startups and entrepreneurship ,imbibing the skills like lifelong learnings, keeping the participants spellbound by his inspirational and motivating words. Prof. K.R. Jha, Dean Faculty of Engineering, SMVDU, is the Coordinator of the program, along with Dr. Manoj Kumar Gupta, Dr. Pooja Sharma, and Mr. Manoj Kumar served as Co- Coordinators. Distinguished guests for the inaugural event included Dr. Shitala Prasad from IIT Goa, Dr. Karan Singh from JNU Delhi, who will share their expertise and insights with the participants. Renowned faculty members from reputed institutes like IITs, NITs, CSIR, and JNU and Industry experts will also deliver lectures during the five-day program to help in bridging the gap between Industry and academics in today’s era. Dr. Manoj Kumar Gupta delivered the welcome address followed by insights about the workshop by Mr. Manoj Kumar . The Formal vote of thanks was given by Dr. Pooja Sharma.

Students organizing the event include Payel Maken, Komal Bhardwaj, Subhag Sharma, Tushar Taggar, Rajat ,Hridyanshu, Achyut and Rudraksh who have worked diligently to ensure the success of the program. Five Days Skill Development Programme on AI and Machine Learning promises to be a platform for learning, collaboration, and innovation in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The organizing committee of Research Project expressed sincere thanks to the Vice Chancellor and Registrar SMVDU Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma for giving such opportunities and facilitating such learning and delivering an environment at SMVDU.

How social activation worked for Dabur in UP & Bihar

Mindwave Media launched two activation campaigns for Dabur India brands in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar during the Covid-19 phase, which effectively combined social cause with brand visibility. Here’s a look.

Mumbai-based integrated digital marketing agency Mindwave Media organised two purpose-driven campaigns in the midst of the pandemic for two brands from the Dabur India stables in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar respectively. By combining social cause with brand activation, the campaign helped the brand strike the right chord and resonate better with the audience.

Dabur India has always been a health centric brand and for the first campaign, Mindwave conceptualised and executed a purpose-driven health awareness campaign, ‘Ashokarishta - Rakhe Khayal Apna Bhi’ for Ashakorishta, a health tonic for women manufactured by Dabur India.

The whole campaign stemmed from the observation that women never prioritise their health and that there was a huge gap in male vs female vaccination ratio. Dabur organized free health camps in 100 Pink Police Stations across Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Allahabad and Varanasi, where renowned Gynaecologists from the city advised the Pink Brigade team on various health issues related to women. The campaign touched more than 50,000 women and the activation idea was a small step towards bridging the gap of vaccination ratio.

Says Rajat Mathur, AGM, Consumer Marketing and Innovation of Dabur India, talking about it, “We thank Mindwave Media to support this noble cause. Dabur is committed to its motto of ‘Being dedicated to the Health and Well-Being of every household’ and this initiative has enhanced our mission. Through our ‘Rakhe Khayal Apna Bhi’ campaign, we are seeking to boost the health of women who selflessly serve their family and the society.”

“Our concept of the campaign was designed keeping the Covid-19 situation at the centre. Experiential marketing is a great way to hit the right chord, but an activation in the face of good deed makes a lot more difference to the brand image and most importantly, the society,” says Rajesh Radhakrishnan, Director - Sales and Marketing, Mindwave Media.

The second campaign all about honouring the role played by ambulance drivers. Dabur Rheumatil Oil in association with Mindwave Media took a step forward to thank the ambulance drivers of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, who were serving the public during the dark phase of second wave. The campaign was named "Rheumatil Ke Saath Har Pal Taiyaar Hum".

The campaign involved collaborating with Dial 108 and Dial 102 to get free foot massages on makeshift stages to those ambulance drivers in 10 Government Hospitals in the severely impacted cities of Meerut, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Prayagraj, Allahabad, Varanasi, Patna, Muzzafarpur and Purnia. The campaign was conducted in the campus of the hospitals, touching the hearts of around 50 drivers.

Dr. Durga Prasad , Marketing Head-Ethicals, Dabur India Ltd, says, sharing his views on the campaign, “First of all on behalf of Dabur Family, we would like to thank the Ambulance Drivers for their 24/7 services for us. In spite of several problems, they leave no stone unturned to bring the patients at the hospitals on time. Apart from the emotional pain of looking at people losing their loved once, they also go through immense physical pain in the legs, ankles, joints and back. Keeping this in mind and to honour the Ambulance Drivers for their dedicated service for us, we have launched ‘Rheumatil Ke Saath Har Pal Taiyaar Hum’ campaign to provide free Massage to Ambulance Drivers.”

“Combining activations and noble deeds turns the tables for promotion. After all, an excellent marketing tactic is that you don’t let your audience know that it is marketing,” sums up Rajesh Radhakrishnan.

Citizen Journalism Awards at 10th Global Festival of Journalism Noida

New Delhi: A panel discussion was organized to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Citizen Journalism during the third session of 10th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2022. Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios initiated the discussion by introducing the definition of Citizen Journalism that it is based upon public citizens “playing an active role in the process of collecting, reporting, analyzing, and disseminating news and information.

Citizen journalism, also known as collaborative media, participatory journalism, democratic journalism, guerrilla journalismor street journalism explained Komal Nahata renowned journalist from Mumbai.

“Citizen journalism was made more feasible by the development of various online internet platforms. New Media technology, such as social networking and media sharing websites, in addition to the increasing prevalence of cellular telephones, have made citizen journalism more accessible to people worldwide added K.L.Ganju Consul General of the Republic of Comoros.

Being that Citizen journalism is yet to develop a conceptual framework and guiding principles, it can be heavily opinionated and subjective, making it more supplemental than primary in terms of forming public opinion,” said Ram Prasad Subedi, Charge d’ Affairs, Embassy of Nepal.

Citizen journalism, as a form of alternative media, presents a “radical challenge to the professionalized and institutionalized practices of the mainstream media,” explained Prof. Karl Bardosh of Tisch School of Arts, New York University, USA.

“Social Media platforms such as blogs, You Tube, and Twitter encourage and facilitate engagement with other citizens who participate in creating content through commenting, liking, linking, and sharing. The majority of the content produced by these amateur news bloggers was not original content, but curated information monitored and edited by these various bloggers,” expressed Ravi Parashar, Senior Journalist.

Sanjay Goswami Head Services Sector Bureau of Indian Standards, Vinod Sharma Senior Journalist, Dr. Indrajit Ghosh Chairman MSMECCII, Dr. Gaurav Guptaa Chartered President Delhi Veg Lions Club, Vipin Gaur Secretary General NAI, Dr. Sushil Bharti Head Radio Noida 107.4FM and Ashok Tyagi Sec. General ICMEI also spoke on the occasion.

Later prestigious and exclusive Citizen Awards were announced for few prominent social workers including Sonal Bedi, Kajal Chhatija, Dr. Rajat Sharma, Kusum Kanwar, Dr. Vidhi Chawla, Dr. Anita Sharma, Anamika Gautam, Durgeshwari Singh, Rajiv Mathur, Brij Mohan Sharma. Few journalists like S S Dogra, Neetu Singhal, Raju Bohra, Dinesh Gaur, Sonal Goel, Dr. Nisha Bhargava, Shyamli Rathore, Dr. Rabiaah’ Bhatia and Dr. Kalyani Kabir were also honoured with 2nd Citizen Awards of Marwah Studios.

The event was supported by AAFT University, International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry, Asian Unity Alliance, International Public Broadcasting Forum, Koshish-Sahyog, Mahatma Gandhi Forum and International Film and Television Research Centre. Akanksha Singh conducted the program.
